The almond trees of Bakersfield begin to produce flowers between February and March and are the dreamiest spot for a shoot.
Aileen of Blu Events Planning & Design, wanted to embrace the stunning vision of rows of pastel cream and pink petaled trees. And as the flowers fall from the trees, it creates a romantic whimsical snowlike feature. The inspiration behind the design was to embrace the beauty of the orchards with a classic modern white wedding. The tablescape was designed to perfectly complement the perfect picture backdrop featuring a white flatware with touch of gold accent alongside a modern glassware and white sleek dinner plates. White creamy taper and pillar candles in glass candle holders of various heights as an accent to the different textures of (centerpiece/blooms) florals.
These pieces were set on a velvet white linen and beautiful menus by Jenae of Matinae Design Studios on a vellum paper completed the looks of the tablescape. We wanted a soft creamy look so we opted for a vellum paper to keep it modern but also have some almond orchards bloom on the invitation in which Jenae nailed it with her design.
The bride wore a gorgeous two piece traditional wear called a lenga- along with gold jewelry to compliment her outfit.
Brilliant editorial shooting. I love the light and the color palette. Thank you for sharing.
