” For this organic cotton editorial, we wanted to create a blank canvas that would stimulate the imagination of the viewer, allowing each to see themselves as the bride to be, preparing for her wedding day on her family’s plantation. In this moment of solitude, she is able to reflect on the day to come and remember why everyone in joining in celebration of her approaching nuptials. The engaging vision was brought to life at a private plantation in southern Virginia. The bride wore a simple lace gown by designer Nha Khanh that was complemented with delicate vintage jewelry and a stunning floral arrangement by One Sweet Day in May. Her natural beauty was highlighted with makeup done by Glamour by Gigi. The shoot was tied together with gorgeous handwritten invitations on Silk and Willow paper by the talented Jenna of the Littlest Paperie. ” – Alicia

What an inspiring editorial. I love the off-white colors. I especially like how the tranquil mood is reflected in the soft, muted light and tones. The flowers are gorgeous, as is her dress. The cotton adds to the natural, organic style of the session. What a lovely bride.
