” It’s always such a wonderfully proud feeling to shoot a sorority sister’s senior portraits. And this case, she’s a stunner too. Kate Herrod was a new recruit when I graduated from Texas A&M University, so somehow, we became friends on Facebook, but I never actually got to meet her in person! All I new was that this girl was dedicated to Alpha Delta Pi, she was spunky, and she was loved by a lot of people. So when she reached out to me to do her senior session, I was ecstatic. Meeting her in person was a breath of fresh air. This girl really is genuine, kind, smart, confident, and out of this world beautiful! We ended up bonding over her adorable outfits, our love of dance, and of course being sisters.

We did the pictures at Research Park, which made me completely nostalgic for my time at the University. My husband and I used to spend every Sunday walking the park’s trail and watching fellow students spend time with their dogs. It’s a gorgeous place with so many beautiful memories, and I am so glad we got too shoot there. Being in College Station, it doesn’t matter what time of year it is, the trees will most likely be green and the temperature will be warmer than most states in the fall. But even with the green, warm October we were having, the park looked completely stunning, just like I remembered.

I am such a lucky girl to have met her, a new sister and friend. And, I am so proud of her for graduating from Texas A&M with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management this December! ” – Sarah Carpenter
