” Our dear friends, The Chastains, came to visit us a few weeks ago in our new home in the Pacific Northwest. While they were visiting, I had the privilege of doing their annual family photos. Sarah Grace, Bryce, and their adorable 22 month old, Emma Grace, let me pick the perfect location for a sweet family play date and photoshoot. I love doing their family photos and love that they allow me to take a step back from giving direction and capture their gorgeous family naturally. Seeing them enjoy an afternoon in one of my favorite places in Washington, playing in the sand, exploring pebbled beaches and the driftwood, getting their toes wet with the cold, salty water of the Pacific Ocean melted my heart and gave me such joy. This is my favorite way to photograph families. I feel that it creates a beautiful and genuine experience for the family and gives them timeless photographs that hold the truest memories. ” – Sarah
