The Merkley Family have such a beautiful timeless style.  For their session I wanted to capture that style along with playful moments filled with sunshine and warm fall California tall grass.   The kids loved running under the blanket as it flew through the air and finding the best sticks in the field.  I just watched as they interacted naturally as a young fun family would and let their own perfect moments be my inspiration.  The neutral tones played so well on fuji 400 and the soft light gave their images such a nostalgic feel that paired perfectly with them as a family.
