This sweet family escaped the city for a warm evening at an orchard in the countryside. As a photographer one of my favourites parts about my work is being able to scout for locations of my session. A lot of the time what I’m searching for doesn’t come across as something most people would pick out for their family session backdrop. It’s not always about the vistas, but about the experience I can create. A place that can hold memories, where families can interact together. Our time is quickly filled with giggles of delight from the children as they search out of the best apples to pick and taste. They find joy in running through the tree lanes as their parents chase them. As we walked down the hillside a breeze brought that crisp reminder that fall is approaching. We watched the sheep in the adjacent pasture. It’s always so satisfying seeing the wonder and curiousity in toddlers. I often here my clients say we should get out here more often. The sun sets and all of us leave feeling content.
