These images are from shortly after the family’s adoption of their youngest child from South Korea. I’ve been friends with the couple for close to 15 years now and have always been inspired by how they make marriage and family life look effortless. While they wouldn’t pretend to have things all figured out (in fact they would readily suggest that they don’t), they never let that stop them from plunging into life’s next adventure with uncommon grace. Apart from providing a pretty good setting for the photographs, the wide open slabs of rock scattered in the middle of the river highlighted the loving and joyful nature of the family as they explored together. ” – Kevin

  1. Everything about this!! Family sessions on film are my soft spot, but this particular family’s story makes it even more amazing!
