There’s just something magical about the sun filtering through the tress at the end of the day. For this shoot I wanted to claim a small corner of forest within all the spectacular woodland of the Pacific Northwest and use film to highlight the enchanting golden sunset hour. Whitney was up for all my ideas, and we had a lot of fun posing her in ways that reflected and complimented the landscape surrounding her. She’s a natural in front of the camera and I love the way her presence adds a sense of both tranquility and power to the final images. This was one of my very first 100% film shoots and I haven’t shot a digital session since! ” – Anna
